Students should carry the following documents:
1) SSLC, PUC and all BE semester marks cards in original
2) SSLC, PUC and all BE semester marks cards in photocopy
3) Any Identify proof (Voters ID, College ID, Passport or Driving License)
4) Updated CV with signature at the end of the CV. Passport size photograph attached to right corner of the CV.
Selection criteria for Trainee Software Engineers:
Qualification: BE in CS, IS or MCA background or M.Tech students (CS/IS branch)
Test pattern: Programming test in C or C++. The students can write the test in any one of these languages. Time slot for the test is 45 minutes Those who clear this test would have to attend technical interview. Topics for interview are: Data Structures, algorithms, problem solving skills, checking their knowledge level in the language chosen by them for the previous test round and other subjects studied in their course.
We would also want you to share the names of the reference books to the students so that they benefited
1. C Programming Language by Ritchie and Kernighan
2. C++ Complete Reference by Herbert Schildt.
Those who clear the technical interview shall have the HR interview round. If students clear the HR interview round, their names would be announced to the college and offer letters shall be sent across shortly to the college. The offer letters will be sent asap to the students immediately to make sure that the selection process is completed from our end.
Criteria and package details/Terms and Conditions for selected students:
Revised terms & conditions: Our package would be Rs.3.25 Lakhs per annum. As you know, we have a Service Agreement concept in our company. The Service Agreement would be for 2.5 years and the Security deposit for the same would be Rs.1.25 Lakhs. Designation offered is Trainee Software Engineer.
Selected candidates would need to sign a Service Agreement with our Company for 2.5 years. As part of this, a security deposit of Rs.1.25 Lakhs needs to be deposited with Nationalized Bankers, Canara Bank (Branch details shall be provided to candidates) as Fixed Deposit in their name. Offer letter to students would be given as soon as the students are selected. When their course is coming to completion, the joining dates are finalized and would be communicated to the College as well as the students. Once these dates are finalized, the students will need to complete their joining formalities of security deposit. This typically would be towards the end of their course and before their joining Robosoft. To enable them to do this security deposit, they would need to collect ‘Introduction Letter to Bank’ from Robosoft offices. This would be required at the Bank to complete the FD formalities. In case, the concerned students need to avail loan for making an arrangement for this amount, they can use the same letter to arrange for the same. Loan can be availed at the same Bank (Canara Bank) or any other Bank as per their convenience. However, the deposit shall have to be done at the specified Bank of Robosoft (Canara Bank). If students are having trouble in getting the loan, they can contact the HR department of Robosoft who would speak to the concerned Bankers and help them with the same. Once this Fixed Deposit is completed, the receipt for the same as given by Bank, needs to be given to Robosoft offices. When this is received, Robosoft shall sign an agreement with the concerned candidate that the receipt would be with Robosoft for the next 2.5 years and would be returned to the candidate at the end of 2.5 years.
